Redd Walitzki is a working artist from Germany, now living in Pioneer Square (Seattle’s artist district).  She graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with her BFA in 2007 with a concentration in Painting, Video Animation and Printmaking.  Redd spent several years running a studio-gallery in Seattle’s 619 Western renegade arts building, helping keep the underground art scene alive.  These days, Redd can usually be found in her studio painting to BBC Documentaries, playing with her pet opossum, or chasing down the next strange adventure.

Eric Michael Wilson is a traditional fine artist focusing on figurative modelling and sculpture.

Eric comes from a family of artists and craftsmen. His grandfather was one of California’s largest and most successful high-end wood furniture manufacturer as well as an accomplished carver and painter. Eric’s father painted and worked in wood and his mother was a clothing designer and seamstress.

From an early age, Eric had a passion for art that carried him all throughout his educational career. Eric entered art competitions annually and always placed often competing against students many years his senior.

In high school Eric taught himself sculpture, a subject not offered at his school. Eric was able to convince the school’s administration to allow him to create his own assignment and projects and thus carved out his own artistic path.

As a teenager, Eric worked in an artist-owned foundry in order to learn the rigorous techniques and procedures of creating bronze sculpture. At the age of eighteen Eric completed his first half-life bronze. By the age of twenty-two Eric had collaborated with several professional artists including sculpting work on monuments. During this period, Eric had several high-profile commissions including sculpting a key bronze sculpture for the Boy Scouts of America and another for Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

In a rare move, Meyer Gallery reached out to Eric to commission life-sized sculptures of children. Eric was also contacted by world-renowned sculptor Richard MacDonald to work for him collaborating on everything from smaller to monumental projects. Eric was instrumental in helping MacDonald establish his 8,000 sq. ft. gallery in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, building key pieces at the entrance to the gallery.

Eric has worked on some of the world’s best anatomical figures serving as reference for artists. He has taught many artistic anatomy workshops to professional artist including some from Industrial Light and Magic, Pixar, and many other studios.

In addition to creating his fine art, Eric has taught professionally and is one of the foremost authorities on artistic anatomy.  He teaches primarily out of California but also has students from all around the world travel to him to learn.

In early 2013 Eric co-founded New Masters Academy, a traditional fine arts institution offering instruction for fine artists and providing online classes, 3d anatomical reference, and other resources.
