Matthew Davey is a painter - sculptor; living and working in Indianapolis, Indiana. U.S.A.

Davey studied at Herron School of Art & Design, Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianapolis ; and studied at College of Fine and Applied Arts, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Davey also attended Purdue University where he studied math, science, and engineering -- graduating with BS and MS degrees in Engineering.

Davey has continued his artistic study by way of a community of artists centered in Indianapolis ; sharing figure model sessions and sharing interests, discussions, and studies of tools and techniques of great artists / great works of art.

Davey has exhibited in solo exhibitions, regionally in America's Mid-West; and has exhibited in group exhibitions, nationally and internationally.

In 2008, Davey exhibited sculpture along-side Odd Nerdrum and the kitsch-painters, in Munich. And, this year, Davey is exhibiting in the figurative painting and sculpture exhibition in Barcelona.
